Zeus Needs Help!
The world drastically and unexpectedly changed for Susan C. and her family recently.
She lost her job due to the coronavirus crisis and now is struggling to pay the day to day bills. Her husband is ill, and they just received more terrible news: their beloved dog Zeus needs surgery as soon as possible. The cost is another bill they can't afford.
Zeus is a senior dog, and he needs to have a growth removed and dental surgery immediately. Untreated dental disease can cause many other health problems for dogs ranging from heart disease, lung issues, and infections.
The medical team at Bridgeport Veterinary Hospital recommends both of Zeus's procedures are done at the same time, he has a heart murmur, and anesthesia is risky.
The cute dog has been a member of Susan's family since he was a puppy and gives them so much comfort during these difficult and stressful times. "We've been together for 11 years now. Zeus is an awesome Chihuahua, he is smart, handsome, and my best friend," she told Waggle. "We love going to parks, taking long walks, and soaking up the sun. I love Zeus very much; he shows me everyday what unconditional love is."
The Waggle Foundation seeks to ensure that the lives of pets are not cut short because a pet guardian is without the necessary funds to cover the cost of medical treatment, and works in partnership with the general public, media, influencers and brands to raise critical funding and awareness.
Our mission is to eradicate the economic euthanasia of pets who might otherwise live out their natural lives, sharing cherished time with their beloved families. The Foundation works to grow a community of like-minded people and organizations devoted to this goal; helps nonprofits to participate in concert; provides direct financial support for veterinary care; and works to inspire and educate responsible pet parents to circumvent this tragic outcome.
*Credit card processing fees add up to thousands of dollars. Your contribution will help offset these costs and allow us to care for more pets in need.
